The King’s bare head to right. At the base of the truncation the letters W.W. incuse, with stops, standing for William Wyon. First bust ear top rounded with nose pointing towards 2nd 'N' in BRITANNIAR

The Ensigns Armorial of the United Kingdom within a shield surmounted by a crown, in the centre a smaller shield containing the Hanoverian Arms, 'ANNO' and date below shield.
