1703 VIGO,TERTIO edge, sharp and choice About Unc, the edge lettering especially crisp, some adjustment lines as often. Note the term 'VIGO' refers to the silver used to strike these coins being captured from Spanish treasure fleet at the Battle of Vigo Bay in 1702.
Very Seldom seen in this grade and probably the best example available on the current market.

Pre-Union crowned cruciform shields, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, .MAG BR. FRA. ET. HIB REG. edge inscribed in raised letters, .+. DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. TERTIO. (R over lower R in TERTIO).
