The reverse designed by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS was personally approved by The Duke of Edinburgh in 2008. Ian Rank-Broadley was also the designer of the previous (4th Obverse) portrait of HM the Queen which appeared on all British coins between 1998-2015. This memorial coin is available in a number of different versions with this being the Two ounce (2oz) 999.9 fine gold Denomination £500 and limited to just 300 pieces in this presentation..
