Released in HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee year this £5 Gold Proof Crown celebrates 70 years of dedicated charity and patronage. The reverse design by P. J. Lynch focuses on Maundy Money as a symbol of the Queen's service. These are the first UK coins to feature The Queen’s signature in a detail which unites the designs in the collection. Just 250 of these have been issued and the coin is presented with a booklet on Her Majesty’s many and varied patronages along with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
